Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Seattle, Washington. The position is for 13 weeks starting August 3, 2026, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour shifts.

Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
- RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
- TNCC, NIHSS certification
Summary
The ICU Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, critical care to patients in the intensive care unit. This role includes assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Essential Work Functions
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients
- Administer complex medications and treatments
- Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
- Maintain patient safety and comfort
- Document patient conditions and interventions
- Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/write in English
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer
- Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Technical/motor skills: grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, work without assistance from other personnel, contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally, and maintain continuous concentration to detail
- Sensory: possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
