Travel CSICU Nurse job in Tuscaloosa, AL at a 583-bed acute care community hospital with a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital provides advanced cardiac surgical services and specialized intensive care for complex cardiac patients, including a 4-bed CSICU and 8-bed CSU (stepdown).

Tuscaloosa is a lively college town with a rich arts scene and plenty of outdoor activities. Birmingham is about a one-hour drive, offering additional entertainment and travel options.

• Duration: 3 weeks
• 48 hours per week (36 or 48 hours/week, RN’s choice)
• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Pay

Pay Rate: $2262.00 - $2378.00

Responsibilities

Provide specialized intensive care for complex cardiac patients in a cardiovascular intensive care unit.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact accepted)
• At least 2 years of recent cardiac surgical intensive care experience
• ACLS certification (copy needed)
• BLS certification (copy needed)
• SSN and Date of Birth required
• 1 reference in the last 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems
