Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,170 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Spokane, Washington. The position will last 13 weeks starting August 10, 2026, with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour shifts.

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
• RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
• TNCC, NIHSS certification

Essential Work Functions

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• Provide patient education
• Adhere to infection control protocols
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use a computer
• Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers, work under close supervision, work without assistance, work under continuous concentration to detail, and maintain continuous concentration to detail
• Sensory: possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
