Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $2,154 per week

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, including nursing students, in a 607-bed facility specializing in lung, liver, and kidney transplants, and associated with the Barrow Neuro Institute.
• Complete required onboarding and assessments, including the Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam, within specified deadlines.
• Adhere to facility-specific policies, including no facial piercings, natural hair colors only, and no concurrent assignments within the Commonspirit system.

Requirements

• 2 years of core experience in CVICU or relevant specialty (Level I Trauma and teaching experience required).
• Previous travel nursing experience required for ED, Neuro ICU, and other specified units.
• Cerner EMR experience required for ED travel teams.
• Must have own vehicle (Cath Lab will not consider tech/RN teams).
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48 hours prior to acceptance (maximum 2 attempts; failure results in a 6-month Do Not Use (DNU) period within Commonspirit AZ and Sacramento regions).
• Onboarding documents due by 1 PM CST Wednesday before start; no pending items allowed.
• Must be gone from Commonspirit for 12 months as permanent staff to be considered for a travel assignment.
• No concurrent contracts allowed while working for Dignity AZ.

Travelers may be assigned to a parking lot and shuttled to the facility or assigned to a parking garage for night shifts. This is a teaching hospital, so travelers can expect to work alongside nursing students.
