Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) Nurse in the region surrounding the healthcare organization. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, including post-surgical and acute diagnoses, in a fast-paced hospital environment. The position requires a focus on critical thinking and advanced patient management skills.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Associate Nursing Degree
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

• CVICU experience
• CCRN certification preferred

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios: 2:1 with occasional 1:1
• Equipment: Impella, IABP, CRRT
• Electronic Health Record: Cerner
• Must have strong critical thinking skills
• Experience in treating CABG, TAVR, STEMI, Carotids is preferred
• Float rotation may be required

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Night shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 09/28/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
