About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) position in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Respond to trauma red calls, code blue calls, and rapid response calls for the facility.
- Care for cardiovascular surgical patients in the ICU, as well as trauma and a variety of other ICU patients.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with CVICU experience (2 years required).
- Active RN license (Compact accepted).
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale.
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC certification strongly preferred.
- Arizona or compact state RN license.
- CVICU (Open Heart) experience.
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred.

Lake Havasu City, Arizona, is a vibrant community known for its social atmosphere, including the famous London Bridge attraction. It is a popular destination for university students during Spring Break and has been featured by MTV as a fun social spot.
Pay
Pay rate ranges from $2,034.00 to $2,139.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amounts are to be determined.
