Job Summary

The position is for a Critical Care Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular at an organization that provides high-acuity, fast-paced critical care services. The role involves caring for critically ill patients, including those with cardiovascular diagnoses such as cardiac surgery, transplant, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, cardiopulmonary arrest, and post ventricular assist device placement.

• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday for 36 hours; Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday for 48 hours

• Shift: 12 hours, nights

Required Qualifications

• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

• Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test

Patient Served

Patients with diagnoses including cardiac surgery, cardiac transplant, myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiomyopathy, arrhythmias, post cardiopulmonary arrest, and post ventricular assist device placement.
