Travel CSICU Nurse job in Tuscaloosa, AL at a 583-bed acute care community hospital with a Level III Trauma Center. The hospital provides advanced cardiac surgical services and specialized intensive care for complex cardiac patients in a 4-bed CSICU and 8-bed CSU (stepdown). Tuscaloosa is a lively college town with a rich arts scene and plenty of outdoor activities; Birmingham is about a one-hour drive away.

Pay

Pay Rate: $1,946.00 - $2,046.00 per week

Responsibilities

Provide specialized intensive care for complex cardiac patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact accepted)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent cardiac surgical intensive care experience
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (copies required)
• SSN and Date of Birth required for compliance
• 1 professional reference from the last 12 months

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems
