Travel Nurse RN - CVICU - $1,995 per week

Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for a CVICU position in Little Rock, Arkansas. The position is expected to start as soon as possible and will last for 12 weeks with a 36-hour workweek, 12-hour shifts.

• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CVICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) and ACLS (AHA/ARC) certifications

Essential Work Functions

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer complex medications and treatments
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses
• Communicate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform quality improvement initiatives

Required Essential Skills

• Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to read/write in the English language
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
• Physical abilities: remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
• Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
