Travel Nurse RN - Clinic Oncology - $2,490 per week

About the role

This outpatient oncology infusion position involves providing chemotherapy and long-term IV medication administration to adult patients. The role requires managing patient care, administering treatments, and performing assessments in a fast-paced clinical environment. Float rotation may be required to all three infusion centers: Christ, South Suburban, and Trinity. The role involves collaboration with clinic leads, schedulers, and onsite oncologists.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 0800–1630, with potential for extended infusion times
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• No weekend rotation or on-call responsibilities

Required qualifications

• Active BLS certification
• ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification
• One (1) year of outpatient infusion or oncology experience
• Illinois license or equivalent state licensure
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with chemotherapy administration
• Access skills such as peripheral IV, Port-a-Cath, and PICC line
• Strong assessment skills and recognizing adverse reactions
• Comfortable drawing blood from ports for labs

• Access to Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing system
