Travel Nurse RN - Clinic Oncology - $2,325 per week

This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position within an oncology clinic in Springfield, Missouri. The role involves providing direct patient care to oncology and hematology patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatments. Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care to oncology and hematology patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient treatments.
- Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, emphasizing attention to detail and quick action.
- Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with other departments.
- Works with oncology/hematology patients, some med surg overflow, and provides compassionate, detail-oriented care.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs., and exposure to blood and body fluids.
- Requires flexibility in work schedules to meet patient care needs.
Requirements
- Current RN License (eligible for licensure in Missouri or already licensed in Missouri).
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Chemo Certification.
- NIHSS Certification (to be obtained prior to start).
- At least 1 year of experience in Med Surg/Oncology or Oncology inpatient settings.
- Experience and competence in drug titration.
- Able to float on a rotational basis within the med surg/oncology cluster.

Schedule
Schedule: Nights shift, 1900-0700, with minimum hours per week of 36, on a 13-week assignment.

Pay
