About the role
Clinic Nurse with experience in outpatient medical settings is needed in Peterborough, New Hampshire. The role involves supporting primary care providers by preparing patients, assisting with examinations, administering injections, wound care, and maintaining clinical areas. This position requires effective communication skills and clinical competence to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care delivery.
Schedule
- Day shift, 8 hours per shift
- Minimum 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Prepare patient charts
- Assist with examinations and procedures
- Administer injections
- Manage wound care
- Sterilize instruments and maintain clinical supplies
- Manage phone calls related to medical concerns
- Fill out clinical forms
- Support the clinical team as needed
- Perform other non-clinical duties as directed by the Office Manager or Clinical Coordinator
Requirements
- At least 2 years clinic experience
- Knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding medication, medical history, and diagnosis
- Wound care experience
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Current state license and certification, all valid at time of submission
- Permanent address required in submission file
Preferred Qualifications
- Gastroenterology experience
- Critical Access Hospital experience
