About the role
TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Clinic for a travel nursing job in Lexington, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Take patient histories, vital signs, and perform assessments
- Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as ordered
- Absorb minor procedures and diagnostic testing
- Assist providers with minor procedures and diagnostic testing
- Provide education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
- Perform wound care and basic lab work, including specimen collection
- Maintain patient progress and communicate concerns to providers
- Document nursing care and patient interactions accurately
- Care for patient flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and well-stocked
- Support patient scheduling and administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- BLS certification
- At least one year of experience as an RN in a Clinic setting
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
Qualifications
- Current BLS certification
- Eligible for State licensure

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
