About the role
Travel nurse RN position in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) at a facility in Wichita, Kansas. Start date October 12, 2026, 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts (7 p.m.–7 a.m.) with rotating weekends. The unit has 26 beds, 15 staff members (13 RNs, 1 charge nurse, 1 patient care tech), maintains a 1:2 patient‑to‑nurse ratio, and uses equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia therapy. Documentation is performed in Meditech.
Requirements
- Minimum 1‑year current acute care hospital ICU experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIH certification
Skills
- Prior Meditech experience (preferred)
- Prior experience traveling to a large‑facility ICU (preferred)
