Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Responsibilities

• Providing direct and indirect nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries
• Preparing and maintaining the surgical environment, ensuring equipment and supplies are sterile and functional
• Collaborating with surgical team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Aiding in patient positioning, draping, and specimen handling
• Participating in safety protocols and emergency responses
• Coordinating post-surgical patient care and handoffs
• Ensuring sterile procedures and regulatory compliance

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of recent CVOR RN experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS certification
• PREFERRED: ACLS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and follow instructions
• Visual acuity and sensory communication skills
