Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $3,107 per week

About the role

Travel RN position in the Cardiac Cath Lab at LewisGale Medical Center (1900 Electric Road, Salem, VA 24153). Start date: October 19, 2026; duration: 13 weeks; 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. Employment type: travel. The unit includes 9 pre/post beds, 3 cath labs, 1 EP lab, and a staff of 18. Equipment includes GE and Philips systems; EMR platforms are MacLab/CardioLab and Meditech.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Perform electrophysiology (EP) procedures and ablations.
• Collaborate with the cath lab team to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using MacLab/CardioLab and Meditech EMR.
• Adhere to unit dress code (scrub color provided).

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience.
• Current Virginia RN license or compact licensure (must be submitted at application).
• Valid BLS certification.
• Valid ACLS certification.

Skills

• Proven experience in cardiac cath lab and EP lab settings.
• Familiarity with GE and Philips imaging equipment.
• Proficiency with MacLab/CardioLab and Meditech electronic medical record systems.
• Ability to handle diagnostic, interventional, and EP ablation procedures.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced unit with 9 pre/post beds, 3 cath labs, and 1 EP lab.
