Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $3,095 per week

About the Role

The Cardiac Cath Lab is an inpatient and outpatient procedural unit focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients in the upstate New York region. The facility includes 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, serving adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The lab features a comprehensive program with pre- and post-procedural care holding areas, emphasizing excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction through a collaborative RN and CVT practice model.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP Lab settings.
• Assist with mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention procedures.
• Collaborate with CVT staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Participate in pre- and post-procedural care in the holding area.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with adult and pediatric patients.
• Respond to unit needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties.

Requirements

• 2 years of Cath Lab experience.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ACLS (AHA) certification.
• Moderate sedation training.
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred.
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment.
• EP Lab experience.

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks.
• 36 hours per week.
• 12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM).
• Shift preference: 4x10-hour or 3x12-hour shifts, with weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties as needed by the unit.
