About the role

Travel nursing assignment at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Unit consists of 11 procedure rooms (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR) with a staffing ratio of 1 patient to 3 staff. Unit staff includes Cath/EP Techs and Cath/EP RNs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and circulate cath lab and/or EP procedures
• Scrub and monitor cath lab and/or EP procedures (Techs)
• Work 4 x 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM to 5 PM)
• Float only to prep and recovery as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience
• Experience with procedures such as:
  • Cath Lab: diagnostic, PCI, Rotoblator, Laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitrClips, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, Pernumbra
  • EP Lab: EP studies, pacemakers, ICD, ablations (no cryo ablations), micra pacemakers, loop recorders, lead extractions (including laser lead extractions)
• Technologists must have RCIS, RCES, or RT(R) certification

• Equipment: GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, Merge Hemo
• Documentation: Merge Hemo and Meditech
• Dress Code: Scrubs
• Floating Policy: Only to prep and recovery
• Patient Experience: Minimum 2 years required
