Job Summary

The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, providing supportive and restorative therapy directly or via consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.

Position Description

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing.
• Affirms health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
• Provides therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
• Executes delegated medical functions.
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Promotes mission, vision, and values of the organization, and abides by service behavior standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• ASN - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• BLS American Heart Association; (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit or service).
• Experience as a Registered Nurse preferred.

Schedule

Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
