Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Brighton, Colorado. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and starts on July 27, 2026.

  • One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification

Required Qualifications

  • One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
  • Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
  • Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
  • Current ACLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • PALS or ENPC Certifications
  • RCIS certification

Essential Work Functions

  • Conduct assessment of patients prior to procedures
  • Absorb and perform physical exams
  • Assist in positioning patients correctly for the procedure
  • Absorb and perform the placement of catheters, wires, balloons, stents, structural heart devices, and other cardiac interventions
  • Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
  • Recognize and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic waveforms
  • Absorb and perform arterial and/or venous sheath removal using closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression
  • Transport patients to the appropriate recovery area
  • Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment
  • Communicate effectively with team members, patients, families, and physicians
  • Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards

  • Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment

  • Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
  • Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
  • Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally
  • Must be able to maintain continuous concentration to detail

Sensory

  • Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
