About the role
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a 13-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Alabaster, Alabama.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a licensed physician
- Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards
Requirements
- 2+ years of Cath Lab RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA) certifications required
- Strong Cath Lab procedural experience required
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with Philips X-ray equipment and EPIC EMR
