Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,506 per week

About the Role

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Shift & Schedule

• 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, days
• Shifts will vary as needed between 7am-7pm (worked hours may extend beyond scheduled time)
• Weekdays only, no weekends or on call
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/17/2026

Required Certifications

• BLS via American Heart Association
• ACLS via American Heart Association
• EPIC proficient - no exceptions

Required Skills & Experience

• Pre and post recovery experience with patients having or who have had minimally invasive cardiac procedures (coronary angioplasty, stents, IABP, Impella, electrophysiology studies, EP device implants, and associated medications and drips)
• Critical care exposure with cardiac patients
• At least 2 years nursing experience in Critical Care, Emergency Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Pre-Post Care Unit, or Cardiac Rehab (preferred)

Licensing & Submission Requirements

• Compact or VA license in hand at time of submittal - no exceptions
• Qualivis Submission Form required on all submissions
• All RTO must be included on cover sheet
• Current NURSYS report required
• Permanent address must be less than 50 miles from facility (address must be included with profile/submittal)
• RTO required with submission; will be reviewed and approved on a per case basis

Additional Facility Requirements

• No prior license or background hits will be accepted - any history eliminates candidate from consideration
• Facility cannot accommodate PAPR; any history of fit test issues eliminates candidate
• EKG Testing required for Cath Lab Tech
