Travel Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $2,556 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional treatments. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, assisting during procedures, operating and monitoring equipment, and supporting post-procedure care.

Requirements

• One year’s recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• PALS or ENPC Certifications (preferred)
• RCIS certification (may be required)

Qualifications

• Advanced cardiac care skills
• Cardiac catheterization skills
• Strong communication and adaptability
• Adherence to safety and regulatory standards

Essential Work Functions

• Assist in positioning patients for procedures
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients
• Maintain and troubleshoot cath lab equipment, ensuring everything is functioning properly and fully stocked for procedures
• Monitor vital signs, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedure
• Support post-procedure care, including monitoring patient recovery and ensuring a smooth transition to the next phase of care
