Travel Nurse RN - Ambulatory Surgery - $2,195 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Ambulatory Surgery Center position in Oklahoma City, OK. The assignment is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. The ideal candidate has 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Admit patients to the ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate OR operations.
• Document patient care services by charting in specific computer charting systems.
• Comfort patients by anticipating anxieties and answering questions.
• Review post‑retrieval and post‑transfer instructions with patients.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Manage stress effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred).
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
