Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administering medications and treatments specific to cardiac care
- Supporting physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations
- Observing patient status, recording significant conditions, and responding to emergencies
- Providing patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintaining safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications And Skills Required
- Minimum of one year recent telemetry nursing experience
- Valid RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication abilities
- Physical, motor, sensory, and interpersonal skills to perform essential duties effectively
