Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data to identify abnormalities.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, assist with cardiac procedures, and ensure patient safety.
- Evaluate patient conditions, document assessments, and collaborate with healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
- Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies, maintain patient comfort, and provide education on cardiac health.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum one year recent experience as a Telemetry RN.
- Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
- Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, excellent communication, and ability to work with diverse teams.
- Physical ability to move equipment and patients, and sensory acuity for monitoring.
- Proficient in reading instructions, documentation, and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) or NIHSS certification.
- Additional certifications or licenses as required.
