About the role

The Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care in a telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac monitoring, assessment, and treatment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data to detect abnormalities
• Administer prescribed medications and assist with cardiac procedures
• Absess patient condition, document findings, and communicate with healthcare team
• Respond effectively to cardiac emergencies, ensuring patient safety
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risk factors, and lifestyle changes
• Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum one year of recent telemetry RN experience
• Valid RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move and handle equipment, and visual acuity
• Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions accurately
