Responsibilities
- Assess maternal and neonatal health
- Administer medications
- Support breastfeeding
- Perform newborn assessments
- Educate families on postpartum and infant care
- Respond to emergencies
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of one year recent postpartum RN experience
- Valid RN license
- Current BLS and NRP certifications; preferred ACLS certification
- Demonstrate critical thinking, effective communication, technical proficiency, physical ability to handle equipment and move patients, and ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
