Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize patients, recognizing life-threatening conditions.
- Prioritize injuries and illnesses through triage and make quick, accurate assessments of physical and mental health conditions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active RN license from an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum of 18 months recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- May require certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
- Ability to respond decisively in emergency situations and understand complex health issues.
