About the Role
Provide direct patient care in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver top-of-scope nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with a team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Prioritize wellness, patient safety, and evidence-based practices.
- Precept and mentor new healthcare staff.
- Contribute to maintaining a secure and high-quality care environment.
- Provide comprehensive care in units such as Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, Birth Center, Women’s Care, and NICU, adhering to evidence-based standards and certifications to support maternal and neonatal health.
Requirements
- Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
- Minimum of 1-year clinical experience.
- Certifications in ACLS, NRP, and BLS (AHA or Red Cross).
- Knowledge of Women’s Care standards, including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
