Pay
- LVN: $35.00–$40.00 per hour
- RN: $45.00–$50.00 per hour
About the role
We are looking for compassionate nurses for 12-hour shifts in long-term care. Competitive wages; multi-state licensees and new graduates welcome.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality, positive clinical outcomes and resident/family satisfaction during your supervisory shift.
- Serve as a resource to all staff regarding the quality of services provided.
- Provide direct resident care when required.
- Administer medications and treatments timely according to facility policy.
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
- Manage nursing personnel on shift to limit overtime and agency use.
- Assess nursing staff performance against unit standards and goals.
- Conduct regular staff meetings on each shift and provide updates to the Director of Nursing.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved Licensed Vocational program and licensed in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required for all SNFs; ALFs as required by state).
