About the role
Luxor Healthcare is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) willing to travel outside of their home state to work on contract travel assignments at Missouri nursing facilities in Kansas City. This position offers the opportunity to make a difference on your own schedule and terms while working under the supervision of the RN Supervisor and following the physician-established plan of treatment.

Requirements
- Currently holds an active LPN license from a state in the NLC
- Must be willing to relocate from your home state to Missouri for this position
- Meets all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated clinical competency
Responsibilities
- Instruct patients and their families in proper treatment
- Help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health
- Assess and record symptoms and/or reactions and progress in patients
- Administer patient medications as prescribed by the treating physician
- Assist in rehabilitation in accordance with the physician's established plan of treatment
