Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies in the nuclear medicine department using appropriate gamma camera systems
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals under physician orders; calculate dosages and verify patient identification and protocol
- Ensure patient safety and radiation safety compliance; document procedures and results in patient records
- Operate imaging equipment, perform quality control checks, and adjust settings to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other staff to coordinate patient care; communicate findings and prepare for interpretation
- Maintain sterile technique, infection control, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards; participate in ongoing quality improvement
Requirements
- Nuclear medicine imaging experience required; lab techs without nuclear medicine experience will not be qualified
- Able to work Days shift (7:30 AM–4:00 PM), Monday through Friday, with 1 week of call per month
- Comfortable using nuclear medicine equipment and applying quality control measures
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment and to meet hospital credentialing expectations

Pay
Weekly pay: 2,889–3,038 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Monday–Friday; includes one week of call per month
