About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, in Rancho Mirage, California.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment
- Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures
- Administer radioactive tracers and monitor patient responses
- Document patient information accurately and securely
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations
- Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards
Qualifications

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
