About the role
LRS Healthcare - Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Olney, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures
- Administer radioactive materials to patients according to physician’s orders
- Record patient data accurately and maintain patient records
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
- Current state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technologist program
- Passing score on the Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification exam

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
