About the role
Acuity Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pikeville, Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Accurately administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patients during imaging sessions.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Current state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment and techniques.
- Proficiency in computer systems used for patient management and record-keeping.
- Compliance with HIPAA standards.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
