About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Falls Church, Virginia. The start date is ASAP and the duration is 13 weeks with a 40-hour workweek and an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician
• Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging studies
• Operate equipment to administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient responses
• Document patient information accurately and securely
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Virginia
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection principles

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in computer systems used in healthcare settings
