About the role
Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 11-week assignment in Falls Church, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures to them.
- Operate equipment to perform diagnostic tests and record results accurately.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document patient information and results in medical records.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Virginia.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
