Job Details
Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, with a weekend rotation involving call only. Weekdays include one call shift per week, ending at 0600 the following morning. Weekend shifts occur every 4th weekend, starting Friday EOS until Monday at 0600.
Required Qualifications
Two years of experience
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
Proficiency with GE equipment (any models), SPECT CT, and general nuclear medicine practices
Able to start IVs and demonstrate good communication skills
Additional Qualifications
Experience with EPIC (preferred)
Mckesson Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) (preferred)
Mckesson Nuc Trak (preferred)
Support on the Unit
Department Supervisor and other Nuclear Medicine Technologists
Orientation
12 hours to learn the workflow.
Floating
Support for PET scans at the Cancer Center (1 mile away) during the second half of the contract.
