About the role
Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies and explain procedures to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Accurately document patient information and procedure details in medical records.
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report malfunctions to management.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in South Carolina.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
