Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,698 per week

About the role

Focus Staff is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13‑week contract assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. The position starts on 11/09/2026, with 40 hours per week on a 5x8 day shift (8‑hour days). As a traveling Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will independently perform all phases of diagnostic nuclear medicine using technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective examinations. Duties include acquiring and processing patient studies, setting up readings for physicians, and maintaining accurate and complete daily records.

• Financial Accountability: Identifies opportunities for department efficiency and waste reduction.
• Communication: Demonstrates team effort with all co‑workers, internal/external customer interactions and assistance.

Requirements

• AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
• BSN from an accredited nursing program and proper licensure
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families
• At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine (Certified Nuclear Medicine)

Pay

Pay depends on location and experience. The pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
