Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist - $2,697 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a contract assignment at a partnering Hospital in Somerville, New Jersey. The Nuclear Medicine Tech will play a vital role in patient diagnosis and treatment by preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and capturing high-quality imaging studies for physicians. This is a 13‑week travel position, 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts, with possibility to extend.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic procedures
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture accurate images
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort
• Analyze images and collaborate with physicians on diagnostic findings
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety and regulatory standards
• Document patient records, imaging results, and dosage information

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
• Certification from NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT (N) required
• State licensure (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience
• Strong technical expertise, safety knowledge, and patient care focus

Pay

$2,470 – $2,697 per week estimated pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

13‑week contract, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. Possibility to extend.
