About the role
Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
- Accurately measure and administer radioactive materials according to physician orders.
- Record patient data accurately and maintain patient records.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
