About the role

Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week position starting July 27, 2026 in Harrisonburg, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Prepare patients for imaging studies, including administering radiopharmaceuticals and positioning patients appropriately.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately and prepare reports for physicians.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Virginia.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in nuclear medicine preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
