About the role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, including administering radioactive tracers and positioning patients appropriately.
- Operate equipment to acquire images and ensure accurate data collection.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Virginia.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR).

- Proficient in nuclear medicine equipment and techniques.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed.
