About the role

Health Carousel - Travel Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately in Omaha, Nebraska.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine equipment
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and explain the process
  • Accurately document patient information and results
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret images and provide clinical support

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Nebraska
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field
  • At least one year of relevant experience in nuclear medicine technology
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
