About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 24, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Prepare patients for imaging studies, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Accurately administer radioactive pharmaceuticals and monitor patients during imaging sessions.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain records according to regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality assurance guidelines.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
  • Completion of an accredited program.
  • Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using nuclear medicine equipment.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
