About the role
Health Carousel - Travel Allied is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position in Hartford, Connecticut.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, including explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
- Accurately administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients during imaging sessions.
- Record and report patient data accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Connecticut.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience in nuclear medicine.
- Knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
