About the role
LRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 9, 2026, in Evansville, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Position patients appropriately for imaging studies.
- Operate and maintain equipment used in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and securely.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in the state of Indiana.
- Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protection regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine Technology, or related field.
- Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records systems.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day, 5 days a week.
