Pay
$2,436 to $2,627 weekly. Pay includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements.
Schedule
13-week assignment starting 09/15/2026. Three 12-hour day shifts (07:00 – 19:00) per week.
Responsibilities & Skills
- Adult Critical Care
- Aerosol set up (mask and trach)
- Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Xopenex, Perforomist, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Theophylline, Tobramycin
- Bicarbonate, Lidocaine, Mucomyst, Racemic epinephrine, Flovent, Pulmicort, Inhaled steroids, Inhaled Flolan
- BiPAP, CPAP, Bubble CPAP, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BIPAP, T-piece, Trach collar
- Bronchoscopy
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), drawing arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, umbilical blood gases
- Intubation assist, extubation, bag and mask, oral/nasal airway placement
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), high frequency jet ventilator, high frequency oscillator, oscillating ventilator
- IMV (Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation), IMV/SIMV
- Pressure/Volume Ventilator, Bivent, Nitric Oxide (INO)
- Suctioning (ETT, NT), oral/nasal suctioning, tracheostomy care/management, fresh tracheostomy
- Chest physiotherapy (vest and manual), pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection
- Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Patient transport (inter-departmental and ambulance), neonatal transports (inter-departmental)
- Assist in high-risk delivery
- Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI), Medihaler
- Hand-held nebulizer, oxygen tanks
- Pediatric and neonatal critical care
- Respiratory conditions: ARDS, aspiration, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, cystic fibrosis, pneumonia, respiratory distress syndrome, Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), transient tachypnea of the newborn, near drowning, COVID
Requirements
- 1 year of experience
- Active BLS, NRP, PALS, and RRT certifications
- Travel experience required
- Charting system: Paragon
